Execution modes: Approve-each (Mode C), Auto-execute (Mode A), Auto-entry (Mode B)
Last updated: 2026-08-23
Every leader you follow has an execution mode. It controls what happens between "the leader posted a signal" and "an order reaches your broker."
Mode C — Approve each signal (default)
Every signal lands in your queue. Nothing is sent to your broker until you tap Approve (or Approve All). Skip anything you don't like.
Best for: new users, evaluating a leader, or anyone who wants a human click on every order.
Trade-off: options signals move fast. If you approve minutes later, the price may have moved past your configured slippage tolerance and the order will be declined rather than chased.
Mode A — Auto-execute
Signals that pass your risk checks are sent to your broker automatically — entries and the leader's exits/trims. No per-trade click.
Enabling Mode A requires reading and accepting a separate risk disclosure in-app. Your risk caps (per-trade, max contracts, daily loss) still gate every order — auto-execute never bypasses them.
Best for: users who trust a leader and can't watch the queue during market hours.
Mode B — Auto-entry with YOUR exit plan
Entries fire automatically (like Mode A), but Bridge does not mirror the leader's exits. Instead, your own exit plan manages the position: your trim ladder takes profits at your levels and your protective stop policy defends the downside.
When the leader exits and your plan is still holding, Bridge shows an in-app notice ("leader exited — your exit plan holds") so you're never guessing.
Best for: users who like a leader's entries but want mechanical, rules-based exits they configured themselves.
Quick comparison
- Who clicks the entry? C: you · A: automatic · B: automatic
- Who exits? C: you approve leader exits · A: leader's exits mirror automatically · B: your own trim ladder + stop
- Extra consent required? A and B (auto-execution disclosure)
Changing modes
Settings → Copy Trading → per-leader mode. Mode changes apply to new signals; open positions keep the mode they were opened under.
