⚠️ READ BEFORE FOLLOWING ANY SIGNAL PROVIDER
This is the general copy-trade disclosure. It applies to every user who follows a signal provider on Bridge Trading, regardless of whether you approve trades manually (Mode C) or auto-execute them (Mode A).
The separate Auto-Execute Disclosure (Mode A) applies in addition if you later choose to enable auto-execution.
1. What Bridge Trading Is and Is Not
Bridge Trading IS:
- Technology infrastructure that routes trading signals from independent third-party signal providers to your connected brokerage account.
- Software that lets you choose, follow, and stop following individual signal providers.
- A platform providing analytics, audit logs, and risk-control tooling around the routing of those signals.
Bridge Trading IS NOT:
- A registered investment adviser (RIA).
- A registered broker-dealer.
- A registered Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA) or Commodity Pool Operator (CPO).
- A fiduciary with respect to your account or your investment decisions.
- A custodian — Bridge never holds your funds. Your money stays at your broker at all times.
- A guarantor of the accuracy, profitability, or timeliness of any signal provider's trades.
Bridge Trading does not give you investment advice, does not recommend that you buy or sell any specific security or contract, and does not exercise any discretionary authority over your account.
2. Who the Signal Providers Are
Signal providers (sometimes called "leaders" in the interface) are independent third parties. They may include:
- Individual traders who publish trades publicly (for example via Discord or X).
- Automated systems run by independent third parties.
- Other Bridge Trading users who have opted into being signal providers.
Signal providers on Bridge Trading are not licensed financial advisors and are not employees, agents, partners, or affiliates of Bridge Trading. Bridge Trading does not verify, vet, or warrant the qualifications, experience, performance, accuracy, or honesty of any signal provider.
You alone are responsible for choosing which signal providers to follow.
3. You Bear Full Financial Risk
- You may lose some or all of the money in your connected brokerage account.
- For leveraged instruments (futures, options), you may lose more than your account balance and may owe money to your broker.
- Past performance of any signal provider, on Bridge Trading or anywhere else, does not guarantee, predict, or imply future performance.
- A signal provider's published trade may be late, incorrect, manipulated, the result of a typo, the result of a compromised account, or simply a poor trade.
- Bridge Trading does not insure your account against losses, signal-provider errors, broker errors, or platform errors.
4. Two Modes of Operation
Approval Mode (Mode C) — Default
- You receive a notification for every signal published by a provider you follow.
- No order is placed in your account until you tap Approve.
- You may approve, decline, modify quantity, or ignore each signal.
- This is the default mode for every new user.
Auto-Execute Mode (Mode A) — Optional, Requires Separate Consent
- Orders are placed automatically without per-trade approval.
- Requires you to read and consent to the separate Auto-Execute Disclosure before it can be enabled.
- Can be switched off at any time (effect is immediate for future signals).
You start in Mode C. You stay in Mode C unless you explicitly enable Mode A.
5. Asset-Class-Specific Risks
5A. Options
- Options can expire worthless. You may lose 100% of the premium paid.
- Short option positions (selling options) carry theoretically unlimited risk.
- Your broker must approve your account for the level of options trading required by the signal. If your account is not approved, the broker will reject the order and Bridge Trading is not responsible for that rejection.
- The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) publishes the "Characteristics and Risks of Standardized Options." A copy is available at www.theocc.com. You should read it before trading options.
5B. Futures
- Futures are leveraged. Small price moves can cause large losses relative to your account equity.
- Futures positions can result in losses exceeding your account balance.
- Futures markets trade nearly 24 hours a day. Orders may be placed and filled outside regular trading hours.
- Margin calls may occur. Your broker may liquidate positions without notice if margin requirements are not met.
- Futures trading is regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the National Futures Association (NFA). Bridge Trading is not a registered CTA, CPO, FCM, IB, or RFED.
- The CFTC publishes risk-disclosure documents for futures and other derivatives. Materials are available at www.cftc.gov.
5C. Equities
- Stock prices can fall to zero. A delisted or bankrupt company can result in a total loss of principal.
- Margin trading multiplies both gains and losses.
5D. Proprietary-Firm and Funded Accounts
⚠️ PROP-FIRM TERMS-OF-SERVICE / ACCOUNT-BAN RISK
If you connect a proprietary-firm or funded evaluation/payout account (for example Apex Trader Funding, TopstepX, or a Tradovate-based prop account), be aware that many proprietary firms prohibit copy trading, signal-following, automated execution, or third-party order routing under their Terms of Service.
Using Bridge Trading with such an account may violate that firm's rules and can result in your account being suspended, banned, reset, or closed, and any simulated or real profits being forfeited.
- You are solely responsible for reading and complying with your proprietary firm's Terms of Service, rules, and evaluation conditions.
- Bridge Trading does not monitor, interpret, or enforce any prop firm's rules on your behalf and is not responsible for any ban, reset, forfeiture, or closure of your funded account.
- Rules vary by firm and change over time. The absence of an integration warning in the Bridge interface is not a representation that copy trading is permitted by your firm.
- Before enabling copy trading on a funded/prop account, you must complete the in-app Prop-Firm Account-Ban Risk acknowledgement, which is logged with your user ID, IP address, and timestamp.
6. Technology and Execution Risks
- Bridge Trading systems may experience outages, latency, errors, or bugs.
- Your internet connection, your broker's systems, or the network between Bridge Trading and your broker may fail at any time.
- A signal that is published by a provider may not be successfully routed to your account, may be routed late, may be routed at a price significantly different from the signal price (slippage), or may be rejected by your broker for any reason.
- Bridge Trading does not guarantee that every signal will result in an executed order in your account.
- You are responsible for monitoring your brokerage account. Do not rely on Bridge Trading notifications as your sole source of truth about your positions.
7. Hypothetical Performance Notice
Where Bridge Trading displays paper-trade results, backtest results, AI-generated "confidence scores," win-rate statistics, signal-provider historical performance, or any other simulated, projected, or historical figures:
Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown. In fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved.
One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program that cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results, all of which can adversely affect actual trading results.
This notice is a standard CFTC- and SEC-recognized disclosure for simulated performance data. It applies to every numerical performance figure you see on Bridge Trading unless that figure is explicitly labeled "live, real-money result." See also the standalone Hypothetical Performance Disclosure.
8. Self-Directed Trading — Your Responsibilities
By following a signal provider, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter binding agreements.
- You alone have chosen which signal provider(s) to follow.
- You alone have set the position size, the risk parameters, and the mode of operation (Mode C or Mode A) for your account.
- You alone are responsible for monitoring your account, including positions, balances, margin, and open orders.
- You understand that no one at Bridge Trading is acting as your financial advisor, broker, or fiduciary.
- You are using funds you can afford to lose entirely.
- You will not hold Bridge Trading, its officers, employees, affiliates, or signal providers liable for any losses incurred in your account.
9. No Investment Advice Clause
Nothing on Bridge Trading — including but not limited to signal-provider trades, The Analyst (Bridge's AI), market analytics, GEX charts, options-flow data, brief content, watchlists, or any other feature — constitutes investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security or contract, or a solicitation of any investment.
All content on Bridge Trading is for informational and educational purposes only. For personalized investment advice, consult a licensed professional in your jurisdiction.
10. Termination, Kill Switch, and Withdrawal
- You may stop following any signal provider at any time.
- You may disconnect your broker account at any time.
- Bridge Trading provides a Kill Switch in the Copy Trading console that immediately blocks all future executions for your account.
- You may delete your Bridge Trading account at any time by contacting support. Audit records will be retained as required by applicable law.
11. Regulatory Notice
This disclosure has not been reviewed or approved by the SEC, FINRA, CFTC, NFA, or any other regulatory body. Bridge Trading is a technology platform and is not itself regulated as a brokerage, advisory firm, or trading firm.
If your jurisdiction prohibits the use of automated signal routing, third-party signal subscription, or copy-trading, you are responsible for not using Bridge Trading in that jurisdiction.
📋 Where you actually consent: The acknowledgement and "I UNDERSTAND" typed confirmation are collected inside the Bridge Trading app, before you can follow any signal provider. The acknowledgement is logged with your user ID, IP address, timestamp, and a hash of this exact document.
