Bridge Trading — Refund Policy

1. The short version
If you sign up for a Bridge Trading paid subscription and decide it's not for you, you can request a full refund within 7 days of your first payment. No questions asked. We don't make you justify it. We don't try to talk you out of it.
After day 7, your subscription continues until you cancel. Bridge does not issue prorated refunds for partial months after the 7-day window has closed, except in limited situations described below.
You can cancel at any time from your account Settings page. Cancellation takes effect immediately.
2. Why we offer this
Two reasons:

FTC negative-option rule + state consumer-protection law. Bridge is a recurring monthly subscription with auto-renewal. Customers must be able to easily review, modify, and cancel. A frictionless 7-day refund window is the cleanest way to comply.

Bridge is expensive ($500/month). You shouldn't be locked into a product you haven't actually used yet. One week is enough to connect your broker, run a few signals, and decide if Bridge fits your trading workflow. If it doesn't, take your money back.
3. How to request a refund
Email [REFUND_EMAIL_OR_SUPPORT] with:
- The email address on your Bridge account
- The date of the payment you're refunding
- (Optional, helps us improve) Why Bridge wasn't a fit
We'll process the refund within 5 business days to the original payment method (typically the same card you paid with). The refund hits your statement within 5–10 business days after we issue it, depending on your card issuer.
You can also self-cancel from your Settings page first and then request the refund — that's totally fine. Cancellation does not automatically trigger a refund (we'd rather not refund people who genuinely meant to just stop renewing).
4. What's eligible
✅ Your first paid month of any Bridge Trading subscription, including the Copy Trade $500/mo tier.
✅ Subsequent months, but only if all of the following are true:
- Bridge had a documented service outage affecting your account during the billing month (e.g. healthz failing, dispatch pipeline down, broker integration broken on our side), AND
- The outage materially prevented Bridge from delivering the service you paid for, AND
- You contacted us within 30 days of the affected billing month.
We'll work it out case-by-case for those. If we agree Bridge was at fault, expect a prorated or full refund. If we don't agree, we'll explain why in writing and you can dispute it through your card issuer if you disagree.
5. What's NOT eligible
🚫 Trading losses. Bridge is a non-custodial signal relay. It does not guarantee returns and does not pretend to. If you lost money following Copy Trade signals, that's a trading outcome — not a Bridge service failure. The refund window does not exist to reimburse trading P&L.
🚫 Prop-firm account closure / forfeiture. If your Apex PA, TopstepX, or Tradovate-funded account is suspended, closed, or has its profits forfeited by the prop firm — for any reason, including third-party automation rules — that's between you and the prop firm. Bridge will not reimburse forfeited profits or account fees. Our Terms of Service make this explicit and you accept that risk at signup.
🚫 Refunds requested after the 7-day window, unless one of the Section 4 service-failure conditions applies.
🚫 Broker fees (e.g. Tradovate's $25/mo API Access add-on). Those are paid directly to the broker, not to Bridge. Bridge has no ability to refund them — talk to your broker.
🚫 Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us. Card-issuer chargebacks bypass our refund process and cost Bridge $15–$25 per dispute regardless of outcome. We will gladly issue the refund directly if eligible — please email us first. Repeated chargeback-without-contact behavior can result in account termination (per our TOS).
6. Cancellation
To cancel your subscription at any time:
- Log into your Bridge account.
- Go to Settings → Billing.
- Click Cancel subscription.
- Confirm.
That's it. There's no retention call, no "are you sure" sequence, no hidden steps. Cancellation takes effect immediately — you keep your seat for the remainder of the current billing period and Bridge doesn't charge you again.
If you cancel during your first 7 days, follow up with the refund email above to get your money back.
If cancelling via the UI doesn't work for any reason, email [REFUND_EMAIL_OR_SUPPORT] and we'll process it manually within one business day.
7. Subscription auto-renewal disclosure
When you sign up for a paid Bridge subscription, you authorize Bridge Trading to charge your payment method monthly at the price displayed on the pricing page at the time of signup. Renewal happens on the same day of each calendar month (or the closest preceding day for months that don't have your signup day, e.g. signup on Jan 31 → renewal on Feb 28 / 29).
We notify you by email at least 5 business days before any price change. You can cancel at any time before the next renewal to avoid the new price.
8. Disputed charges (card issuer chargebacks)
If you dispute a Bridge charge with your card issuer instead of contacting us first, your Bridge account access will be suspended during the dispute (this is a Stripe + card-network policy, not Bridge's choice). If the chargeback is upheld, your account remains suspended and you're not eligible to re-subscribe until the chargeback is reversed.
This is why we strongly prefer that you email us first — we'll issue eligible refunds directly, faster than a chargeback, with no service disruption.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Material changes (e.g. shortening the refund window, adding new exclusions) will be emailed to all active subscribers at least 30 days before the new policy takes effect.
If you disagree with a change, your remedy is to cancel before the new policy's effective date. Your last full month of service is then governed by the previous policy version.
